SEER Lab BSc (Hons.) Students Successfully Present Theses

BSc (Hons) thesis students

Congratulations to Ashar Izhar, Daniel Hinbest, Dev Thaker, and Mirisan Ravindran who all successfully presented their Computer Science honours theses last Thursday! 🎓 A further congratulations to Ashar who’s thesis was nominated for the Ontario Tech Computer Science Outstanding Thesis Award.

Their thesis projects spanned interesting areas of software engineering and education and I had the pleasure of co-supervising the work with some great colleagues:
· Ashar Izhar – “Automatic Quiz Generation Using LLMs to Improve Program Comprehension” (co-supervised by Jeremy Bradbury, Eric Rapos)
· Daniel Hinbest – “Exploring Student White-Box Testing Practices in a Software Quality Assurance Course” (co-supervised by Jeremy Bradbury, Michael Miljanovic)
· Dev Thaker – “Analyzing Emotion During Programming Tasks”(co-supervised by Jeremy Bradbury, Steven Livingstone)
· Mirisan Ravindran “Automatic Level Generation for the Educational Testing Game TestMiner” (co-supervised by Jeremy Bradbury, Cristiano Politowski)
